Thinh Nguyen is a member of the Patent Practice Group. Thinh is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property protection in computers, semiconductors, software, hardware, network, mechanical, optics, biomedical, and communications technologies. He provides a broad range of IP- related services including preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, rendering opinions regarding patent validity and infringement, providing litigation support, review and evaluation of patent portfolios, and due diligence evaluations.

Thinh has assisted numerous clients in developing a cost-effective IP program, establishing IP-related policies, and reviewing existing IP portfolios. His clients include well-established companies to start-ups and individual inventors.

Prior to joining the firm, Thinh worked in various industries in medical imaging, semiconductor testing, massively parallel processing computers, radar signal processing, automatic target recognition, artificial intelligence, video and graphics, machine vision, and robotics. He received a NATO award for his work in medical imaging and NASA innovation awards in robotic vision and remote sensing imaging.
