Simona Freeman is a member of the Patent Practice Group. She is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property matters including patent preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications and support for patent litigation. Simona’s technology areas of emphasis include: computer electronics, semiconductors, software, networking, signal processing, image processing, electronic security, wireless communications systems and devices, Internet technologies, computer related technologies, and business methods.
 
Prior to becoming an attorney, Simona worked as an engineer at Sun Microsystems. Her responsibilities included designing processors, developing and performing verification tests for microprocessors, and developing and performing silicon validation tests for post-launch microprocessors.
 
During law school, Simona worked as a legal intern at Intel Corporation.
