Aslam Jaffery is a member of the Patent Practice Group. Aslam is registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property protection in a number of technology areas, such as software, hardware, electronics, communications and networks, mechanical, applied physics, and telecommunications.

Aslam has worked with numerous clients, both domestic and foreign, ranging from industry leaders to startups and solo inventors. He provides a broad range of domestic and international intellectual property-related services including patent preparation and prosecution, due diligence evaluation, licensing, patent validity and infringement opinion, and litigation support. Aslam’s practice concentrates on assisting his clients in designing new patent policies as well as reviewing existing patent policies to help establish valuable, yet cost-effective, patent programs that are consistent with the clients’ business objectives.

Aslam is multilingual. He has travelled extensively throughout the world, including numerous countries in Europe, Central/South America, Asia, and the Middle East.

Aslam has received several law school distinctions, such as the Order of St. Ives, numerous Scholastic Excellence Awards, and the University of Denver Law Scholarship. He served on the Denver University Law Review as the Senior Production Editor, and the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy as the Technical Editor.

Aslam has had a unique distinction of being a Judicial Fellow clerking for the Honorable Chief Justice Mary J. Mullarkey of the Colorado Supreme Court. He is also a published author (Economic Freedom and Privatization – From Egypt and Mesopotamia to Eastern Europe, 28 Den J. of Int’l L. & Pol’y 365).
